About Debra
“My work consists primarily of graphite on paper and acrylic on
canvas. I have been making things as long as I can remember. Art has always
been a vital part of my life, though it has surfaced in many forms. I tend to
use art as a way to reveal inner emotions. My works are drawn from daily
observations, memories, and my imagination. I’m attracted to the evocative
aspects of an image and its power to suggest something beyond appearance.
Creating art is a natural path for me to pursue. I want to inspire myself and
others to reevaluate the way we perceive and interpret the world.”
